About this event: The Young engineers society is running a ‘Public speaking made easy’ course for participants who want to develop effective public speaking skills.
This course will run from 6.30pm to 9.00pm on Tuesday, 7th , 14th and 21st September.
The aim of the programme is to give participants a thorough understanding of the public speaking process and the skills to prepare and deliver high impact speeches.
The course content will include:
• An introduction to Public Speaking
• Ice breakers
• Organising your speech
• Being earnest
• Evaluating speakers
• Showing what you mean
• Vocal variety
This is a highly interactive course providing participants with the opportunity to grow and develop as speakers in a friendly, non-threatening environment.
Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be served for participants from 6.00pm.

Please note that to be accepted on to the course participants must be available to attend on all three evenings. |
