To mark World Maths Day on Wednesday 3rd March 2010, Engineers Ireland announced its plan to deliver maths grinds to higher-level Leaving Certificate Maths students commencing March 13th 2010.
The grinds, which are free of charge, will be held at the Engineers Ireland offices, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge from 11am to 2pm every Saturday, with the exception of Easter weekend, for six weeks and will finish on the 15th May.
The grinds will be for honours maths students sitting the Leaving Certificate this summer and will be live on our website and also recorded to allow students to review sessions afterwards.
Students should register online to book their attendance. Please see directions below for those who wish to view.
Lecturer Tim Joyce is a Chartered Engineer and a guest lecturer to final year engineering students in both UCD and NUI Galway.
Students are expected to bring their maths text books and leaving cert past papers with them along with pen and paper.
