We have an opportunity for a Senior Renewables Engineer to join our renewables team in Wellington, New Zealand. Based within the Energy sector, you will join us as we continue to grow our renewables centre of excellence. You will find yourself overseeing multi disciplinary projects (mainly wind farms), and working closely with world class technical people on feasibility studies, through to the design, procurement and construction process. The role will require you to work closely with internal staff from a range of backgrounds, as well as liaising with clients at a day to day level.

The ideal candidate will have:



  • Mechanical or other relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven experience managing multi disciplinary renewables (mainly wind) projects
  • Experience and currency with wind modelling, due diligence and technical assessments
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the project development process, renewables industry and resource consenting process
  • The ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, a team approach and customer focus
  • A desire to progress your career and take on responsibility within a supportive environment
