We are currently have a vacancy for the Head of Operation and Maintenance Wind Energy for one of Ireland’s leading Engineering consultancies. This position will report directly to the Director and be responsible for executing business development activities associated with the expansion and growth of wind field services.Additional responsibilities will include new business lead generation, customer interface, proposal development, contract development and negotiation, technical support, customer service, and project management
The Role
Oversee the technical and administrative management of the wind farm portfolio in Ireland.
Technical reporting and inspections of the turbines Contract Management Responsible Co-ordination of the operational management tasks
Contact person to the grid companies and the designated responsible operator Meter-reading and billing of the electricity to the grid
Your main responsibility will be organizing planned maintenance and inspection of wind turbines, fault finding on associated systems including generators, gear boxes, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Liaising with farm operators/owners and assisting in site maintenance, construction and commissioning.
Hire, train and supervise multiple staff over multiple sites
Budget responsibility and Investment controlling together with a commercial employee
Liaising with the owners of the properties occupied by the wind farm
The Candidate
At least 5 years experience in a similar role
Engineering Degree ·
Must have extensive experience in Site O&M Management
Flexible working hours and prepared to work anywhere in Ireland, UK ·
Working at heights safety training and certification
Experience in wind energy Sector
